Visa F ups

So. Abundance of visa problems on Singapore side AND Canada side. Obviously. (By the way, read Murphy's Law and Other Reasons Why Things Go Wrong, Bloch (1977), if you haven't already... )

Canada visa status is that I will have a lot of convincing to do if I want to get the visa.
Singapore visa status is that I will have a lot of convincing to do if I want to get the visa.

Srishti's Gap Year Fund

I have completed an Honors B.A program in Cognitive Science in Canada as of June 2010. Before I start graduate school next September, I am taking a gap year. I call it a gap year because I will not be formally employed or studying, however my main task for this year is to conduct a research study in Developmental Psychology, along with a professor at National University of Singapore. The professor is unable to pay me more than a token amount, but I have chosen to conduct this study with her regardless, as it would be a really great opportunity for me to gain research experience in a subject that I want to study, but didn't major in. Apart from doing the research study at NUS, I will also be volunteering at the Autism Association in Singapore.

My living arrangements are taken care of, and so are my flights, the only thing I need money for is food, transportation and a few other random things. I have about $900 saved up to work towards these costs, but this will not be enough to support myself for the entire term of the project, which is roughly 4-6 months.

There is a donation button below, and if you are able to donate a fixed amount of $5, this will go a long way in supporting the time I will spend there working on research, and volunteering with Autistic children.
